Basically, pack as if you’re going on a holiday.  Warm clothing for winter and cool for summer.  Toiletries, books, shoes, slippers, reading glasses and anything else that is needed for personal comfort.  If you’re coming in for respite, please organise to have all medications blister packed prior to admission.

If you become a permanent resident all GP fees, medications, meals, incontinence supplies, entertainment, laundry and care is included in the weekly rate.  Specialist medical appointments such as podiatry may not be covered, and nor is most dental, hearing or eye care.  If you are not permanent, all medical costs including prescriptions are covered by you privately.  We will supply incontinence products but they will be on-charged to you.  All other services remain the same for respite and intermediate care residents as those receiving permanent care.
